Aftenpostens Moskva-korrespondent ble værende i Russland da andre medier trakk seg ut. Nå får han Den store journalistprisen 2026.
Per Kristian Aale får prisen for sitt arbeid i Russland, melder Medier24.
Aftenposten-korrespondenten har ifølge juryens begrunnelse vært eneste nordiske journalist i Russland gjennom hele perioden etter fullskalainvasjonen av Ukraina.
Prisen ble delt ut under åpningen av Nordiske Mediedager i Bergen.
Den store journalistprisen deles ut av Norsk Presseforbund og er på 100.000 kroner.
